4th program of the series Deedawar was aired on 29th, and revolved around the theme of education for the blind in other developing countries. Our technical expert Samrana Yasmin is an award winning activist with extensive experience working for VIC’s education in middle east, far east and south asia. Her expertise and experiences were extremely enlightening and listeners from across the country called and asked questions. Our Champion Participant of the show was Ummul Ikram Kazmi, a blind student from a small village in Haripur. She is currently studying at Peshawar University for Masters in Pakistan Studies. In her first semester, she beat major competition to secure 2nd position in her class. She is a bright star who is an inspiration for thousands of students like her.
